Max Archer

Max Archer has exploded onto the scene, writing 10 audience-grabbing series since 2024 across a wide range of genres. Max’s intense emotional narratives have garnered audiences over 130 million for a series, and received praise for their compelling explorations of love, relationships, and personal growth. This year, Max’s A Deal with the Hockey Captain opened at number one globally for DramaBox and has been taken up by Disney. After his 2024 Fake It ‘Til We Make It with Turtle Media, Max was delighted to see reviews including comments from verticaldramalove.com such as “The writer of this masterpiece is amazing”. Verticaldramalove reviewed Hockey Captain in these terms: “I can't tell you how many times I have watched this…One day when they teach classes about how to make the perfect vertical they should start with this gem from Turtle Media Production”. Indeed, they do: Max’s producers at Turtle Media have revealed that Hockey Captain has been used as a teaching artefact for USC Berkeley in the US. Max is currently delivering another YA drama and developing a new adult series for Content Republic.

Praise for Max:

“The writing is pitch-perfect for vertical drama — snappy and contemporary, but also deeply nostalgic. Dialogues carry that razor-sharp wit you’d find in early-2000s classics, where every exchange either flirts or fights”.

“…a great love story with a fab heroine, green flag male lead and satisfying ending…This is so refreshing! Thank you. It means we have a proper relationship where they look out for each other…I can't tell you how many times I have watched this. Why isn't there a DVD or buy-to-download option? The money I have spent resubscribing to rewatch this is concerning…”
